HBS-202A Plastic Antistatic Agent
Physical and Chemical Properties
Appearance: White waxy solid.
Properties: Dissolved in organic dissolvent, such as ethanol, but not in water. Has the non-ionic and cationic properties, so can work with cationic and non-ionic surfactant, etc.
Application
HBS-202A is a solid at ambient temperatures. When heated at 50oC-55oC it can be dosed as a liquid directly into the polymer by using a single or twin-screw extruder. Pigment or color concentrates should be mixed with the antistatic agent prior to extruding. Premixing ensures uniform distribution of HBS-202A in the resin while it acts as a dispersion aid to the pigment color concentrate. After being mixed into the polymer HBS-202A continuously migrates to the surface of the finished product where it provides excellent antistatic performance. HBS-202A is especially well suitable for those application needing high processing temperatures.
